Lancer Systems L5AWM Offerings

The L5AWM offerings from Lancer Systems represent the company’s flagship product offerings. These magazines are designed for use with the AR-15 platform and are compatible with popular calibers used in the platform. L5AWM magazines will work with .223 Remington, 5.56x45mm NATO, and .300 Blackout ammunition. Lancer Systems offers these magazines in a variety of colorways which range from Smoke, Flat Dark Earth, and even colors such as purple and Blaze Orange. Colors can be had in solid, opaque form or in the form of translucent colors. These magazines notably feature polymer bodies and metal feed lips, seeking to provide shooters with both weight savings and durability. L5AWM magazines are available in various sizes such as 5, 10, 20, and 30 round ammunition capacities.

Lancer Systems L7AWM Offerings

Beyond AR-15, STANAG style magazines, Lancer Systems also makes magazines for large caliber platforms such as AR-10s. The L7AWM magazine offerings will work with any rifle capable of accepting AR-10/SR-25 pattern magazines, allowing them to be used in many popular firearms. These magazines are designed to work with popular calibers such as 7.62x51mm NATO, .308 Winchester, and 6.5 Creedmoor. Though there are not as many options, these types of magazines are also available in many colorways such as black, clear, and Flat Dark Earth. Like their smaller counterparts, these magazines also feature metal feed lips and polymer bodies, providing a hybrid solution which is lightweight and durable. These L7AWM magazines are available in the form of 5, 10, 20, and 25 round capacities.

Limited Capacity Magazine Offerings

Lancer Systems also makes magazines for customers who reside in restrictive states. These types of magazines feature limited capacities and are compliant with a number of restrictive states and regulations. Currently, these offerings are limited to three different types of L5AWM magazines. Two of these magazines feature the body style of 30 round magazines but hold either 10 or 15 rounds of ammunition. These types of magazines are denoted as 10/30 and 15/30 magazines as they appear to be 30 round magazines while holding their respective reduced capacity. The third limited capacity offering comes in the form of a 5 round magazine with the body of a 10 round magazine.

Lancer Systems Train-Safe Magazines

Lancer Systems also provides a version of their L5AWM magazine which is specifically designed for training purposes. Unlike other types of magazines, the L5AWM Train-Safe Magazine (TSM) is not compatible with live ammunition. These magazines feature geometry which prevent live rounds from being inserted into the magazine, ensuring that only specialized training ammunition may be loaded. Magazines of this type are only designed to work with non-lethal ammunition types like blanks and training marker rounds. These types of magazines appeal to professional end users who engage in force-on-force training.

Lancer Systems Magazine Accessories

To supplement their magazine offerings, Lancer Systems also produces a number of magazine-oriented accessories. Notably, the company offers +6 extended basepads for use with their L5AWM magazines. These basepads will replace the factory basepad and add 6 rounds to the total magazine capacity of the unit. Extended basepads can easily be appreciated by competitors and recreational shooters alike as both end users benefit from more ammunition on hand. Additionally, the company produces magazine cinches which allow an end user to couple magazines together. This practice allows for rapid reloads and provides the shooter with a readily available source of ammunition. Lancer Systems also provides a 5 round limiter for use with their 10 round L5AWM magazines. This product allows for one to make their 10 round magazine a 5 round magazine for hunting use.
