Dear Don,
Thank you for reaching out with your question about the velocity ratings of our Norma 9mm practice ammunition.
I appreciate your attention to detail. You are correct; there have been slight variations in the velocity ratings between different batches of our Norma 9mm ammunition. The current batch you are inquiring about is rated at 1200 feet per second (fps), while the previous batch was rated at 1181 fps.
While there is a small difference in velocity between the two batches, it's essential to note that this variance typically has minimal impact on the performance and feel of the ammunition. In practical terms, shooters are unlikely to notice a significant difference in recoil or trajectory between the two velocity ratings.
Rest assured, both batches of our Norma 9mm practice ammunition are manufactured to the same high standards of quality and reliability that our customers expect from us.
If you have any further questions or if there's anything else we can assist you with, please don't hesitate to let us know. We're here to ensure you have the best shooting experience possible.
Thank you for choosing our products. We look forward to serving you.
The velocity for 124 gr seems high compared to say Igman or CCI Blazzer. Is this true NATO spec. 124gr? Norma pistol ammo would go from very good to amazing if they sealed their primers.

Michael, I just confirmed this Norma 9mm is SAAMI spec and not NATO spec. It is a little spicier than some other brands. I show the following:
Norma - 1,181 FPS
Blazer - 1,090 FPS
Igman - 1,115 FPS
I agree, would be awesome if they had sealed primers and kicked up the FPS just a little more.Â
Hello, Is this loose pack or multiple boxes?

A
Nick, this product is packed in 50 round boxes with 20 boxes to a 1,000 round case. We do from time to time get this product in bulk or loose rounds in an ammo can but we set those up as separate products in our system and the images should reflect packaging. Please let us know if you have any other questions.Â
