Great question, the projectile is a full lead projectile but instead of a full metal jacket like you're used to its a poly coat coated jacket. There are some three letter agencies that use it for CQB shooting because you don't have to worry about splatter from the full metal jacket. It's been a popular product for us. The only complaints that some people have had is it can be a little dirtier when shooting suppressed because you don't have that jacket.
