Questions and answers of the customers
-
What is the velocity and foot pounds energy? Will it work in vintage pistols?
-
A
The Corbon - 38 Super +P - 100 Grain - Pow'RBall ammunition has a listed muzzle velocity of approximately 1,475 feet per second (FPS) and generates about 483 foot-pounds (ft-lbs) of energy. This high velocity and energy make it a powerful self-defense round.
As for using it in vintage pistols, be cautious. Since this is +P ammunition, it generates higher pressures than standard rounds, which could stress older firearms that weren't designed for +P loads. Many vintage pistols may not be rated for the higher pressures of 38 Super +P. It’s best to check your pistol's specifications or consult with a gunsmith before using this ammo in an older firearm.
