    Dear Westley,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the Magtech 9mm Steel Case FMJ ammunition. We appreciate your interest in our products.

I'm pleased to confirm that the Magtech 9mm Steel Case FMJ ammunition is indeed available in a 50-round box format, with 20 boxes packed inside a case. This configuration makes it convenient for storage and transportation, while ensuring you have an ample supply of high-quality ammunition at your disposal.

If you have any further questions or if there's anything else we can assist you with, please don't hesitate to let us know. We're here to help.

Thank you for choosing our products. We look forward to serving you and providing you with the best possible experience.

A Storage and transportation is much easier if I have only *one* container to grab, rather than 19 individual boxes (that's after I've used ONE box already). Bulk packed or Ammo cans are much easier to handle, and I have plenty of plastic carriers from previous 50 round boxes that I can fill up with loose ammo before I hit the range.

    Dear Doug,

Thank you for reaching out regarding the long-term storage of Magtech 9mm Steel Ammunition. Proper storage of ammunition is essential to maintain its quality and performance over time.

Magtech 9mm Steel Ammunition is designed with materials and manufacturing processes aimed at minimizing corrosion and ensuring long-term reliability. However, it's still crucial to store it correctly to prevent rust or other forms of degradation.

Here are some recommendations for long-term storage of Magtech 9mm Steel Ammunition:

Keep ammunition in a cool, dry place: Store your ammunition in a location that is cool, dry, and away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Exposure to moisture can accelerate corrosion, so it's essential to keep the environment as dry as possible.

Use proper containers: Store your ammunition in sturdy, moisture-resistant containers such as metal or plastic ammo cans. These containers provide an additional layer of protection against environmental factors and help maintain the integrity of the ammunition.

Avoid exposure to corrosive materials: Keep ammunition away from chemicals, solvents, and other corrosive substances that could damage the casings or primers.

Rotate stock: If you're storing ammunition for an extended period, consider rotating your stock periodically. Use older ammunition first and replace it with newer stock to ensure freshness and reliability.

Inspect regularly: Periodically inspect stored ammunition for any signs of corrosion, damage, or deterioration. Discard any cartridges that show signs of rust or other forms of damage.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your Magtech 9mm Steel Ammunition remains in excellent condition for long-term storage.

If you have any further questions or if there's anything else we can assist you with, please don't hesitate to let us know. We're here to help.

  8. Are all 9MM ammo labeled Lugar useable in Glock 9MM pistols?

Q Are all 9MM ammo labeled Lugar useable in Glock 9MM pistols? answer now
    A

Yes, all 9mm ammunition labeled as "Luger" (or more commonly "9mm Luger") is compatible with Glock 9mm pistols. The term "9mm Luger" refers to the 9x19mm cartridge, which is the standard 9mm cartridge used worldwide. This ammunition is designed to be used in all firearms that are chambered for 9mm, including Glock pistols which are among the most popular handguns designed for this caliber.

Here are a few key points to remember:

    1. Caliber Match: Ensure that your Glock is chambered for 9mm Luger/9x19mm. This is typically indicated on the barrel and/or slide of the gun.

    2. Use Recommended Ammo: While Glock 9mm pistols can handle a variety of 9mm ammunition, it's always best to use high-quality, factory-made rounds to ensure reliability and safety.

    3. Avoid Mixing Calibers: Do not attempt to use other 9mm variants like 9mm Makarov (9x18mm) or 9mm Browning (also known as .380 ACP) in a 9mm Luger chambered pistol. These cartridges are different in size and pressure and are not interchangeable.

    4. Consult the Manual: Always refer to your Glock's user manual for specific recommendations and guidelines regarding ammunition use.

For any further questions about ammunition compatibility with your Glock pistol, or if you need assistance in selecting the right 9mm Luger ammo for your needs, feel free to contact us at True Shot Ammo. Great question! This is the exact same product as Magtech brass 9mm, the only difference is the case which is steel with a nickel coating. The projectile is range safe and is NOT bi-metal. They use the same powder, projectile and primer as their brass product.

  14. What kind of primers are used? Boxer or Berdan and are they corrosive?

    Hello Jethro,

The new Magtech Steel Case 9mm ammunition is produced using the same Boxer primers, powder and projectiles that are loaded into the standard Magtech brass case 9mm. With this being said, the ammo is non-corrosive.
