Thank you for choosing our products. We look forward to serving you and providing you with the best possible experience.
A Storage and transportation is much easier if I have only *one* container to grab, rather than 19 individual boxes (that's after I've used ONE box already). Bulk packed or Ammo cans are much easier to handle, and I have plenty of plastic carriers from previous 50 round boxes that I can fill up with loose ammo before I hit the range.

Dear Doug,
Thank you for reaching out regarding the long-term storage of Magtech 9mm Steel Ammunition. Proper storage of ammunition is essential to maintain its quality and performance over time.
Magtech 9mm Steel Ammunition is designed with materials and manufacturing processes aimed at minimizing corrosion and ensuring long-term reliability. However, it's still crucial to store it correctly to prevent rust or other forms of degradation.
Here are some recommendations for long-term storage of Magtech 9mm Steel Ammunition:
Keep ammunition in a cool, dry place: Store your ammunition in a location that is cool, dry, and away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Exposure to moisture can accelerate corrosion, so it's essential to keep the environment as dry as possible.
Use proper containers: Store your ammunition in sturdy, moisture-resistant containers such as metal or plastic ammo cans. These containers provide an additional layer of protection against environmental factors and help maintain the integrity of the ammunition.
Avoid exposure to corrosive materials: Keep ammunition away from chemicals, solvents, and other corrosive substances that could damage the casings or primers.
Rotate stock: If you're storing ammunition for an extended period, consider rotating your stock periodically. Use older ammunition first and replace it with newer stock to ensure freshness and reliability.
Inspect regularly: Periodically inspect stored ammunition for any signs of corrosion, damage, or deterioration. Discard any cartridges that show signs of rust or other forms of damage.
By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your Magtech 9mm Steel Ammunition remains in excellent condition for long-term storage.
If you have any further questions or if there's anything else we can assist you with, please don't hesitate to let us know. We're here to help.

The case is steel, is the jacket of the projectile a magnetic bi-metal type or non-magnetic single alloy type? Thanks!

Great question! This is the exact same product as Magtech brass 9mm, the only difference is the case which is steel with a nickel coating. The projectile is range safe and is NOT bi-metal. They use the same powder, projectile and primer as their brass product.Â
What kind of primers are used? Boxer or Berdan and are they corrosive?
-
A
Hello Jethro,Â
The new Magtech Steel Case 9mm ammunition is produced using the same Boxer primers, powder and projectiles that are loaded into the standard Magtech brass case 9mm. With this being said, the ammo is non-corrosive.Â
