Is this corrosive? What is the shelf life expected if kept in a dry environment.

Shelf life is always dependent upon how its stored and packaging (Ex. - Sealed battle packs and tin cans can last longer than than we will be alive) As for this product, there is no reason why it won't last 20+ years if stored correctly like you suggest in a dry environment.Â
