The Gen 2 ETS AR-15 Mags have multiple new improvements over the previous generation. The new feed ramp allows for a a wider range of compatibility with more receivers. ETS has also improved the the mag retention lips to allow for a more secure locking experience. They have also updated the follower for a more consistent locking back blot when you get to the last round. Along with these improvements they also use an advanced polymer that makes these makes extremely durable and be able to survive in the harshest of environments thanks to their heat treatment and UV resistance processing. They also have a very user friendly floor plate that allows for easy maintenance and thanks to the previously mentioned advanced polymer resistant to many harsh chemicals.
