The Holosun PID Line of Lights
Holosun’s P.ID line of products represents the company’s entry into the world of weapon mounted lights. Primarily known for their optic offerings, the
P.ID series of lights showcase the company’s desire to provide the market with an affordable duty light. Besides the standard

What’s In a Name?
The
P.ID name is a clever one that references an important factor to consider in a low light defensive situation. In defensive nomenclature, “PID” means “positive identification.” This is to say that one should strive for PID in the event of a defensive shooting to ensure that an unintended target is not in their crosshairs. By positively identifying a threat, one can minimize the risk of collateral damage or harm and optimize their defensive odds.
Holosun P.ID Mounting Options
The
P.ID utilizes a traditional style crossbolt mounting screw mounting system. The
P.ID light series features replicable inserts which allow the light be mounted on M1913 rails and universal spec rails. While originally intended for use on handguns, the

There are a number of custom holster companies that manufacture holsters to accommodate the
Holosun P.ID line of
