Pumpkins vs. Bullets: A Whimsical Experiment
Hello, folks! It's your good-natured apparition Roger, checking in again from the True Shot Ammo headquarters. Today's fun-filled theme combines the aura of fall, the spirit of the harvest season, and a touch of firearms knowledge. We've lined up a few unsuspecting pumpkins to test out varying calibers and their effect on these autumn staples. So, prepare yourself to witness our three brave gourd recruits—Pumpkin Mikey, Pumpkin Kevin, and Pumpkin Ricardo—as they courageously face different calibers in name of science.

Taking a Shot
Our first combatant in this eccentric experiment is Pumpkin Mikey. And what have we chosen for Mikey, you ask? A classic in the realm of rifles, the .22 Long Rifle.
As we gear up for Pumpkin Mikey's encounter against the .22, our intention was to measure its resilience. Well, let's just say today wasn't really his day. My shooting skills certainly need some polishing, but Mikey didn't exactly fare well either.

Knocking onto Pumpkin Kevin's door next, we opted for a .223 Remington round.
As we analyzed Kevin's encounter with the .223, we found some surprising results. He's hanging on in there, folks—the bullet passed clean through and Kevin stood his ground!

Russian Power
Our third volunteer, Pumpkin Ricardo, took on the eastern powerhouse, the 7.62×39mm round.
Oh boy, Ricardo had a tough day at the office. It appears that the 7.62×39mm has rather convincingly claimed this round, leaving behind a rather sorry looking pumpkin.
But wait, there's more!

Shotgun Time
Next up in our lineup is the renowned 12-gauge double-ought buckshot.
Stand up tall, Kevin, 'cause the 12-gauge double-buck seems to have done some serious damage. Kevin's days as a whole, identifiable pumpkin are well and truly over.

Finally, we decided to test some birdshot.
Sadly, our dear old Mikey didn’t quite stand the birdshot either. Looks like today's experiment has indeed proven too much for our pumpkin pals.

Acknowledgments and Final Words
Today’s exercise was nothing short of a joyous ride lined with pumpkin carnage, and it wouldn’t have been possible without our heroic participants, Pumpkin Mikey, Pumpkin Kevin, and Pumpkin Ricardo. We bid thee farewell, brave gourds!
