    All good here with Sterling

I’ve run Sterling steel 115 gr in my Springfield XDM, 3 different Caniks and my Walther PDP with no issues. It’s reliable and accurate and the price is right, so I have no complaints,

As good as any, better than most!

I am very impressed with my order of Sterling 9mm in 1500 rnd case. I tested this side by side against three other brands I have purchased, including Blazer, Magtech. These 115 gr rounds clearly outshot all others at 15 yds and 25 yds from my Walther PDP steel frame in multiple comparison tests. However, I will mention that over the course of 300 rounds of Sterling, I had three malfunctions where fired rounds failed to eject completely. Since I was also testing the Walther and had not cleaned it in 1200+ rounds, I will reserve judgement on that issue until me next outing next week and an impeccably clean PDP. I am sure I will order more the next time TS runs a special.

    Best looking rounds around!!!

I know I know. You don’t shoot rounds because they are absolutely gorgeous!!! Function over form for sure. But these rounds for the prices are absolutely worth it. Yes they are steel. But don’t discount these because of being steel. Have had zero problems in my Glocks and PCC. I keep buying them. I game some to a friend to try and he is a believer. But DANG. They be so Sexy!!!

Do you ship straight to my house?

    Customer Service

Hello Allen, regarding your question about shipping ammunition directly to your house, the answer generally is yes, True Shot Ammo can ship directly to your home in most cases. However, this depends on the specific laws and regulations of your state and local jurisdiction.
In the United States, the shipment of ammunition is subject to federal, state, and local laws. Most areas allow direct shipment of ammunition to your home, but there are exceptions. Some states or cities have specific regulations that may require ammunition to be shipped to a licensed dealer (such as an FFL holder) instead of directly to a residential address. This is more common in states with stricter gun laws.
Here are a few steps to ensure a smooth delivery process:
    1. **Check Local Laws**: Before placing your order, it's important to be aware of and comply with the laws in your area regarding ammunition shipments.
    2. **Provide Accurate Information**: When placing your order, ensure that your shipping address is accurate and that you meet all local legal requirements for receiving ammunition.
    3. **Age Verification**: Be prepared to verify that you are of legal age to purchase ammunition. True Shot Ammo adheres to all laws and regulations regarding the sale of ammunition, including age restrictions.
For the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding shipping to your specific location, or if you have any other questions, please contact True Shot Ammo's customer service at (888) 736-6587 or email us at sales@trueshotammo.com. Is the jacket bimetal or is the bullet steel core? Indoor ranges disallow bimetal jackets and steel core

    Customer Service

    Hey Thomas!
Thank you for your question. The Sterling 9mm 115 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) with a steel case features a bimetal jacket, not a steel core. A bimetal jacket means that the bullet jacket is made of two types of metals, usually a combination of copper and steel. This is different from a steel core bullet, which would have a core made primarily of steel. The primary purpose of using a bimetal jacket is to reduce costs while maintaining performance, making these rounds a more economical choice for practice and training.
It's important to note that while the bullet jacket may contain steel, the core itself is lead. These rounds are designed to provide reliable performance at an economical price point, suitable for a wide range of shooting activities. However, due to the steel content in the jacket, these rounds may not be allowed at certain ranges that prohibit magnetic ammunition, so it's always a good idea to check range rules before using them.
If you have any further questions about the Sterling 9mm 115 Grain FMJ with a steel case or need assistance with any other ammunition-related inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact us at (888) 736-6587 or via email at sales@trueshotammo.com. Our team is here to help ensure you get the best ammunition for your needs.
