The company provides a wide variety of tactical gear and offers a diverse training curriculum to help shooters learn and hone their skills. Many of the company’s products have proven themselves in harsh conditions and are trusted by armed professionals. The company bears the name of their founder, Travis Haley, a notable figure in the firearms and tactical community. In addition to his military service and work as a contractor, Travis Haley has previously worked with companies such as Magpul to develop training materials and gear. Currently, Travis Haley operates Haley Strategic and notably plays a role in developing products and instructing shooters. The company also has an R&D division which seeks to design and bring innovative gear and equipment for shooters to market. Ultimately, Haley Strategic has a well-earned reputation for making quality gear and offering high-quality training to shooters of all types.

Where are Haley Strategic Products Made?

The company is headquartered in Arizona and manufactures their equipment domestically. The company emphasizes domestic production in order to be Berry Compliant. Simply put, the Berry Amendment requires that domestically produced goods are given preference over foreign goods. Law enforcement and governmental agencies are required to use goods that are Berry Compliant, such as those made by Haley Strategic.

The main difference between the two packs is the fact that the Plus variant has a greater storage potential due to its larger dimensions. Like their rigs and plate carriers, FlatPacks can be acquired in a variety of colorways and camouflage patterns. While the FlatPack and FlatPack Plus are functional as standalone backpacks, they also have the unique feature of being able to integrate with chest rigs. These packs can easily serve as a replacement to the standard harness that comes with a Haley Strategic chest rig and add an integrated storage solution to the entire package. Haley Strategic also produces and offers a belt in the form of their D3 Belt. The belt is available in a variety of colorways and features a rugged Cobra Buckle system to hold it all together. The D3 Belt is a two belt system which consists of an inner and outer belt. The inner belt utilizes a Velcro hook and loop closure which both affixes the belt to itself and the outer belt. The inner belt is also rigid enough to be utilized as an EDC belt and will effectively support pistol in an inside the waistband (IWB) holster. Inner belts can also be purchased separately as individual items. The outer belt features MOLLE webbing which will accommodate magazine pouches and other pieces of equipment such as medical supplies. The 2” belt will also easily support the weight of a duty holster, making it well-suited for training and hard use. These training courses cover a wide breadth of subjects such as carbine, submachinegun, pistol, and night vision usage to name a few. Courses are offered in various forms such as foundational courses for shooters of all levels and sharpening courses to maintain skills. Courses are also offered which are geared towards specific subjects such as home defense, low light shooting, and vehicle defense to name a few.
