    Cycled great

Clean gas and cycled great. Almost as accurate as Bellom rounds.

Thank you for the review! We're glad to hear the ammo cycled reliably and burned clean in your setup. It's great to know the accuracy was right up there with Bellom rounds as well. We appreciate you sharing your experience and thank you for choosing True Shot Ammo!

I often see this very ammo advertises M67. Isn’t M67 supposed to have a hotter load and velocity? Is this in fact hot M67 or what’s the deal with that? Thank you.

    Customer Service

Great question! The ATS X-Force 7.62x39mm 124 Grain FMJ is sometimes advertised as M67-style ammunition, but it’s important to understand the distinction between M67 and standard FMJ loads.
M67 ammunition refers to a specific type of 7.62x39mm military surplus round developed by Yugoslavia. Compared to the older M43 round, the M67 typically has:
A hotter load (higher velocity and energy). A lead core, flat-base bullet (rather than a boat-tail), which improves terminal ballistics and accuracy. However, commercial ammunition like ATS X-Force may be labeled "M67-style" due to similarities in weight and design, but it doesn't necessarily guarantee the same "hot" military-spec load. Many commercial loads tend to be loaded to standard pressures and velocities for safety and consistency in civilian firearms, which may not be as "hot" as actual M67 military surplus rounds.
To answer your question: the ATS X-Force is likely inspired by M67 in design, but it may not have the same hotter load that original military-spec M67 has. For exact velocity and pressure specifications, you'd need to compare manufacturer data or chronograph the rounds yourself.
