    Thumbs up

Great clean ammo with no lite strikes or FTF’s. Every trigger pull resulted in a successful day at the range. Now every time I look at a box of federal, it brings a smile to my face.

    Always high quality ammo!

I regularly purchase Federal-American Eagle ammo in various calibers, ie. 9mm, . 380, . 40S&W, . 45acp. EVERY box of ammo from Federal has always been the highest quality and consistent in its accuracy. Highly recommend!

    Poor delivery

The Ammo was fine. Delivery from True Shot/FedEx was poor. Ammo was delivered three days late and left in the middle of our driveway. Will probably not order from True Shot again.

    Very Solid Ammo

I've used plenty of range ammo before, during, and after my military service. This Federal 9mm 124gr ammo is some good stuff. A box of fifty here in Cali costs more than twice the amount at TrueShot. Also TrueShot gave me very good service, thank you.:hugging:

    Best Ammo / Best price

I have a couple of fussy guns, but they love running this. Found the best price here so it's a win / win.

    Best “Bang” for your buck

The cleanest and most consistent 9mm round I have running through all of my platforms that’s a reasonable price and performance for target shooting / competitions without doing custom rounds of grain & powder catered to each weapon platform.

    Flawless

I ran through about 800 rounds in 4 days with 0 misfeeds. Consistent performance and accuracy make this great range/training ammo.

What is the muzzle velocity of this 9mm ammo. Shooting with a compensated barrel. Thanks

    Customer Service

Hi, Thank you for contacting True Shot Ammo!
The Federal American Eagle 9mm 124 Grain FMJ ammunition has a muzzle velocity of approximately 1,150 feet per second (fps) when fired from a standard 4-inch test barrel.
    Using a Compensated Barrel:

A compensated barrel does not significantly affect muzzle velocity but helps reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil by redirecting gases.
The ammo's performance should remain consistent with its factory specifications.

Why don't you list important ammo info like MV and ME? This way you would have informed customers that'd be grateful for this (no cost to you) service; which you can easily provide. It seems counter-intuitive for a business like yours to NOT have this important data listed without have your clients jump through hoops in order to get to it! You think I like having to write this damned book now? haha

    Customer Service

    Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. We understand your frustration regarding the absence of certain important ammunition information on our website. At times, the data regarding muzzle velocity (MV) and muzzle energy (ME) is not provided to us directly from the manufacturer. However, we acknowledge the significance of this data for our customers' informed decision-making process. While many of our customers primarily utilize ammunition for recreational shooting at the range, we recognize that others may have specific requirements necessitating this information. We strive to cater to all needs to the best of our ability. If you require MV and ME details for a particular product, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team. We'll promptly reach out to the manufacturer to obtain the necessary information on your behalf.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and appreciate your understanding and patience.
