    Quality Made

Have been searching a long time to get ammo for less than a dollar a round to feed my M1. Got what I ordered and good quality and fast shipping.

As far as the ammo goes it pretty good but as far as reloading the brass it’s terrible for me. The rim seems to be to thick to slide into my Lee #2 shell holder.

Is this ammo suitable for use in a M1 Garland ?

    Customer Service

    Hey Douglas!
Thank you for your question. The Sellier & Bellot 30-06 Springfield with a 150 Grain Soft Point Cutting Edge (SPCE) bullet is a high-quality round, but when it comes to using modern commercial .30-06 ammunition in an M1 Garand, caution is advised. The M1 Garand was designed to operate with a specific pressure curve and bullet weight to ensure proper functioning and safety. Modern commercial ammunition, including the Sellier & Bellot 150 Grain SPCE, often exceeds the pressure specifications for which the M1 Garand was originally designed.
For M1 Garands, it's generally recommended to use ammunition that is specifically labeled as suitable for M1 Garand use, or to adhere to military surplus ammunition that matches the original specifications (such as the M2 Ball ammunition). These rounds have the appropriate pressure levels and bullet weights to ensure the rifle operates safely and reliably.
Using ammunition not specifically designed for the M1 Garand can lead to excessive wear on the rifle's operating rod and other components, potentially causing malfunctions or damage. If you're set on using modern commercial ammunition like the Sellier & Bellot 30-06 Springfield 150 Grain SPCE, it's strongly recommended to use an adjustable gas plug. This allows you to adjust the gas system to accommodate the different pressure levels of commercial ammunition safely.
Always ensure to consult with a knowledgeable gunsmith or the rifle's manufacturer if you have any doubts regarding the suitability of specific ammunition for your firearm.

I have a Winchester 30 06 about ,30 years old it has a flat tip. Is this the amo I need to buy Thanks Ron

    Customer Service

The Sellier & Bellot .30-06 Springfield 150 Grain SPCE (Soft Point Cutting Edge) ammunition is not flat-tipped but features a soft-point bullet with a cutting edge design. This type of bullet is designed for controlled expansion, making it suitable for hunting.
If your 30-year-old Winchester .30-06 requires flat-tipped ammunition, it’s possible that you’re referring to ammunition specifically designed for tubular magazines (commonly found in lever-action rifles). However, most Winchester .30-06 rifles, especially bolt-action models, are compatible with standard soft-point or spire-point ammunition like the Sellier & Bellot SPCE.
