Vairog - 38 Super - 125 Grain - JHP

While .38 ACP (also known as .38 Auto) and .38 Super cartridges are very similar in size, it is generally not recommended to use .38 ACP ammo in a .38 Super firearm.

Although some .38 Super pistols may be able to chamber and fire .38 ACP, the two cartridges operate at different pressure levels. .38 Super is designed for significantly higher pressure, which can lead to reliability issues such as improper cycling when using .38 ACP ammunition.

For safety and optimal performance, it is always best to use the exact caliber specified by the manufacturer—in this case, .38 Super. If you have any questions about your specific firearm, we recommend consulting the manufacturer or your firearm’s manual.

The velocity for Vairog 38 Super is 1,195 fps. I will update the product page of this product ASAP.

38 Super and .38 Special are two distinct cartridges with different dimensions and ballistic characteristics. They cannot be used interchangeably in firearms designed for one or the other. Attempting to fire the wrong cartridge in a firearm can lead to dangerous consequences, potentially causing severe damage to the gun and posing a significant safety risk to the shooter and those nearby.
The .38 Super is a higher-pressure cartridge primarily used in semi-automatic pistols. It has dimensions that are not compatible with firearms chambered for .38 Special.
The .38 Special, on the other hand, is a revolver cartridge that has been in use for many years. It is larger in diameter than the .38 Super and has different dimensions, preventing it from fitting into firearms designed for .38 Super.

The velocity for Vairog 38 Super is 1,195 fps. I will update the product page of this product ASAP.
