Who is Olight?

Olight is a company which primarily produces flashlights and other illumination devices. The company’s roots can be traced back to their founding in 2007. The company is headquartered in China and established a U.S.-based subsidiary in 2016. Since their inception nearly two decades ago, the company has expanded their manufacturing capabilities and product offerings. The company produces a number of flashlights which are intended for use on firearms. These weapon mounted lights are manufactured for use on both pistols and long guns. Some offerings, like their PL-Pro line, are intended for both pistols and rifles.

Pistol light options manufactured by Olight can be had with or without laser sights. The addition of a laser provides shooters with another reference point when aiming. Compact and full-size lights are offered by Olight, providing customers with multiple options when considering a light. The Baldr line of lights produced by the company represent compact weapon mounted lights which can be affixed to a wide variety of firearms. On the larger side of things, the company’s Baldr Pro and PL-3 line of lights represent some of the full-size illumination devices for some of the larger handguns on the market. Simply put, the company offers a variety of lights intended for pistol use to appeal to a wide variety of shooters.

As far as lights for long guns and firearms larger than handguns go, Olight offers a wide range of product offerings. The company offers a product which bridges the gap between a grip and flashlight with their Sigurd line of lights. Essentially, this product will provide illumination and act as a point of contact on a firearm. More traditional flashlight offerings are represented by the company’s Odin line of products. These lights can be mounted directly to a firearm via a 1913 or M-LOK mounting solutions. Additionally, the Odin lights are compatible with the company’s pressure pads, allowing one to ergonomically mount an activation button for the light on a picatinny rail. Like some of the company’s pistol light offerings, these types of lights are also available with or without lasers.

Models are also available with either onboard rechargeable batteries or replicable batteries.

Some offerings, such as the company’s Arkfeld feature multiple output options. The Arkfeld Pro in particular is capable of putting out 1,300 lumens of white light, 900mW of UV light, and a Class R3 green laser. This product is just one of the offerings from Olight capable of multiple output modes. A more traditional handheld light offering can be found in the company’s Warrior Nano line of products.
