Worked better than 115 and 124 grain

I was having problems with brass casing 115 and 124 grain cycling in my blowback Carbine. . a friend told me to try this. It worked out great.

What is the velocity? And are these truly subsonic

    Customer Service

The CCI Blazer 9mm 147 Grain TMJ Subsonic with an aluminum case has a muzzle velocity of around 950 feet per second (fps). Yes, these rounds are truly subsonic, as their velocity is below the speed of sound (approximately 1,100 fps at sea level), making them ideal for use with suppressors or for reducing noise levels during shooting.

How can you say...there's no answer to the question of "what's the velocity " and call it subsonic ammo? There are specific conditions to call it "subsonic" velocity is one of them.

    Customer Service

You are absolutely correct that velocity is a key factor in determining whether ammunition is subsonic. The term "subsonic" refers to rounds with a velocity below the speed of sound, which is generally around 1,100 feet per second (fps) at sea level.
For the CCI Blazer 9mm 147 Grain TMJ Subsonic, the muzzle velocity is around 950 fps, which is indeed below the speed of sound, making it subsonic. This lower velocity helps reduce the noise level, particularly when used with suppressors.
Thanks for pointing out the importance of clarity, and if you have any more questions, feel free to contact us at (888) 736-6587 or sales@trueshotammo.com!
