Norma - 9mm - 65 Grain - Non-eXpanding Defensive

Excellent product and price I'm sure I will join your free shipping club

I shot 1 box of 20 with my 2011 and had good accuracy and no malfunctions.

Great service and received my order in a timely manor

Great deal. Great ammo

This is worth the money. I feel better and more confident carrying with this ammo everyday.

Good ammo at a decent price.

Good clean ammo

Having not gotten to the range with these yet, I wanted to leave a review of TrueShot service. Aside from the great price, they ship in a timely manner, product is packed well with a plain brown box. But when you get your product out of the box you’ll find the inside of the box has their name and targets printed on the inside as well as stickers. Nothing earth-shaking but I was impressed and wanted to get that out there. Review of ammo to follow.

Good price on the ammo itself, but True Shot is running a shell game by charging $19.99 shipping for USPS shipping that takes well over a week to arrive. Too bad they aren't honest enough to charge a respectable shipping fee and price the ammo accordingly. I'm one and done with True Shot.

Looks like a great round, can't wait to try it out!

I tried the Norma as the price was quite a bit less than other similar brands of "non-expanding" defensive ammunition. Energy rises at the square of velocity, so the low weight of the bullet is more than made up for by the much higher muzzle velocity, while the lighter projectile provides for a noticeable reduction in felt recoil, at least in my EDC. A win-win in my book. My single trip to the range shows them to be quite accurate, and the lighter recoil makes for faster follow up shots, and somewhat tighter groups. I'll be stocking up.

First time using this brand of ammo I really like it I would definitely recommend it and I would buy it again great price as well

Great item.

Good stuff.

Shoots really well. Decreased the weight for a 17 round magazine by 3ozs.

Great price on this Norma ammo. Very fast, with chrono velocities of over 1400 fps for a Walther PPS M2, Sig P365XL,and an Inglis PA-35. Very accurate with lighter recoil. Have shot several hundred rounds of this ammo through multiple platforms from a Ruger EC9S to a KelTec Sub 2000 with ZERO issues. My initial concern with this bullet design and construction was due to its “injection molded’ process using a copper/polymer mix to form the fluted bullet. How would it hold up to tough barriers like bones? I have shot a lot of Underwood 9mm and 10mm Extreme Defender ammo with the solid copper monolithic CNC-machined bullets and getting great velocity, accuracy and performance, especially penetration through about every kind of medium, including white-tail deer inside of 50 yards. A great hunting load, Albeit at 3 times the cost as this Norma load. Not to worry, three deer shot with the 10mm version of this NORMA load inside 50 yards all through the lungs with complete penetration. The 2 does only making it less than 50 yards, and a good size buck DRT. All were shot with a 10 mm pistol/carbine with an 8” barrel. I tested this combination by shooting through a sheet of old galvanized corrugated barn siding at 20 yards and into an igloo cooler full of water. Real scientific! The bullet penetrated the metal leaving a wicked karate star shaped hole and penetrated 20” of water and imbedded in back side of cooler. Bullet retained most of its mass intact with a couple of small pieces broken off the nose of the bullet. Impressive.

Great accuracy, reliability, and proven terminal performance AND NONTOXIC. whats not to like? You cannot possibly appreciate how this type of projectile design performs until you use it on a tough game animal like deer.

I wish I would’ve bought more.

No issues

Shot surprisingly well out of a Canik, and 2 Walthers. You will need to adjust your sights slightly for the velocity
